HAiR EXTENTiONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!! ATLEAST WiTH 1 OF THE QUESTiONS!!!! =)?

Lol I can see that you are very nervous abou this

1. depending on the type you want to but in it shouldn't cost much, believe me less than 900 ( unless you want the one that is attached strand by tedious strand)

2. The come in many different lengths, just purchase the color and length you want that goes along with your idea for the style your imagining ( you can find them at local beauty stores or hair care stores)

3. I am not sure about this question, the longer they are shouldn't be a problem when it comes to cost from the hair dresser, but purchasing a longer length of hair is more expensive than a shorter one.

4. Get real human hair, because it can be styled with heat and worn like regular hair.

5. Yes, if it is human hair.

6. Depends on what you want, you can wear the sewn in ones for a couple of weeks, but ask the hair dresser to be sure. Your own hair will start to grow out and when that happens you need to get your braids tightened and then have it sewn in again, I don't know about the piecy ones.

7. whichever suits your hair care regimine and purpose.

8. well you can wrap it so that it stays smooth or braid it and sleep with a silk scarf ( it may get crinkly from the braid but good news you can flatten it out as much as you need).

9. Ask the hair dresser and/or the store ou purchased it from (sometimes you need to purchase the hair and bring it to the hair dresser for them to put it on).

10. Had them once the sewn in type, I added it or thickness to my own hair. It was hard to wash because it got tangled a lot with the water. Also it thinned my hair a quite a bit, and I never want to wear it again.

Though this is your decision to make and you should take to someone who is skilled in applying the hair about it.

Happy hair care hunting

HAiR EXTENTiONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!! ATLEAST WiTH 1 OF THE QUESTiONS!!!! =)?

HAiR EXTENTiONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!! ATLEAST WiTH 1 OF THE QUESTiONS!!!! =)?

If you want to curl it or style it your had better get human hair.....synthetic hair will melt if your try to curl it....you need to go to a salon and have a consultation

HAiR EXTENTiONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!! ATLEAST WiTH 1 OF THE QUESTiONS!!!! =)?

1))if i only had $900 to get this done, would that be enoff?

yes!!!

2)) what langthes do they come in? like some one said 20in and 24in or something...?

25 inches

3)) the long u get the more it costs, true?

yes!!

4)) should i get real human hair? or that other kind? and y?

get real human hair.People can tell if your hair is fake

5))r u able to curl it and stuff? can u swim with it?

yes!!!

6))how long do they last? and when that time is up do u go get the touched up or do u have to take them all out and get new ones and re do it all?

they last about 5 mont\hs

7)) should i get the sewin in ones? or the ones they put lil peaces in? y?

sewin ones because it'll look like real hair n if they put lil peaces in it can easy fall off

8)) how do u mantaine((sp)) them after they r put in?

you have to wait for a week before washing your hair

9)) any thing else i should know about them???

Extensions for relaxed hair?

i am black, my hair is relaxed and very fine, it goes down to the top of my bra, but i want extensions for an upcoming event bc my hair isn't thick enough for what i want to do with it. has anyone had experience with getting extensions and it looking natural? i don't want to look like i'm wearing someone else's hair.. are human hair extensions available for hair like mine? thx

Extensions for relaxed hair?

getting hair extensions can look very natural if they're done by the right stylist. I'm black too and I've seen people use hair extensions to thicken the texture of their hair. Just consult w/ your local stylist and let him or her know what you're trying to accomplish and I'm sure they can accommodate you.

Extensions for relaxed hair?

O course chicka you have to go to all the hair and look

Extensions for relaxed hair?

If you've had your hair relaxed then I wouldn't recommend getting hair extensions...your hair has been weakened severely and the added weight of the extensions will snap a lot of your hair. If it's just for an upcoming event then try clip in hair extensions. Go to your salon and ask about them.

Help! I want to get Hair extensions, and i want to know about how much it would cost to do them!?

I am seventeen years old, and i have jet black hair. My hair is a little past my shoulders, and i want to get it at least half way down my back. I know for sure that they are going to be human hair and am going to get them glued in, but i dont know how. I basically just want to make my hair longer. How much would it cost to get it done? Also hair does come in jet black, right? Also, i have shorter layers in my hair, so when i put extensions will it look wierd? Also, one last question, for extensions that have to be glued in, can i use a straightener and curling iron on them? OK! thanks so much for helping me! I would truly appreciate anyone who tries to answer my questions!

Help! I want to get Hair extensions, and i want to know about how much it would cost to do them!?

It totally depends on where you go... the average cost is around 600 to 800 dollars. It comes in any color you want because they can also change it to your hair color. You can use a straightener and curl it as well it just takes a little longer than it normally took you with out the extensions.

Help! I want to get Hair extensions, and i want to know about how much it would cost to do them!?

It does depend on where you go and and how much they charge, but glue in shouldn't cost that much. Its usually the cheapest method of extensions, because it isn't time consuming and doesn't last that long. Usually, they have a flat rate or 10 dollars a track. As far as the color, if your hair is jet black, the color number is 1. Just pick the hair you want and get a #1. The layers don't matter in your hair because if the person does a good job, it should blend in. And if you plan on getting human hair, you can straighten or flat iron or curl as much as u want.

Can you perm your hair extensions?

Im thinking of gettin long curly hair, problem is my hairs short so i was thinking of putting in hair extensions. I cant find any wavy/curly ones to match my colur and iv heard that you can perm your hair extension as its human hair. Hasanybody ever done this?

Can you perm your hair extensions?

yes, you can perm extensions as long as they are made of human hair.

you can also bleach %26amp; color them if you want to.

Hair extensions helpz?

its been 2 week Im using clip in hair extensions and the extensions got very dry and they look kind of dead because i died it to match with the color of my hair, so i was wondering if there is any way i can bering them back to life and make them softer. By the way its human hair

Hair extensions helpz?

No, there is nothing you can do to bring them back to life. Since they are only clip ins just replace them.

Hair extensions helpz?

u can't extension is sometime real or fake hair n even if it was real hair u wouldn't get that nice real hair look...when it drys out b/c of dye or when it gets wet ur now stuck w/ this result

Hair extensions helpz?

wash it to get all the residue out. Then spray it with "oil Sheen" and brush it. Good as New!

Hair extensions helpz?

No.

i had this exact same problem %26amp; i tried everything. You need to make sure you buy top quality hair extensions. Invest and buy Remi, the best hair extensions on the market, dont look on ebay either, biggest mistake i ever made. u

can treat remi as your own hair. Just have a good luck around your nearest shops and stuff, go to a salon and ask. its best saving up and getting Remi tbh, cause i spent a lot of time buying human hair cheaply and i ended up wasting so much money %26gt;.%26lt;

Hair extensions helpz?

Wash and condition them the way you would your own hair and make sure you give them enough oil to give it life.

I have short hair will it be obvious if i get clip-in hair extensions?

I have hair to just above my shoulders, and its very straight cut with a side fringe. If i get human hair clip-in hair extensions (about 7) will my short hair look really obvious or would layers be reccomended to get?

I have short hair will it be obvious if i get clip-in hair extensions?

Get layers, but if you say your hair is very straight then get straight clip-in hair and lay your real hair down very flat so it can blend in. Layers will be good though!

I have short hair will it be obvious if i get clip-in hair extensions?

Or would layers be recommended to get. Great English.

You are a Mr.? Yes, exTREMELY obvious, and girls can get away with it by just saying "oh, they're extensions". Try that as a guy, and you'll be dead.

I have short hair will it be obvious if i get clip-in hair extensions?

well i have a friend that had short hair and she got extensions and it looked really nice...the only way they would look fake is if the person doing it doesn't do it right or if it's not the same hair color...you have to make sure that it's the same color.

I have short hair will it be obvious if i get clip-in hair extensions?

I would recommend cutting them into layers

Hair patch clip/extension any good? Where to buy?

I saw a kiosk in a mall a while back selling human hair clips and extensions. They said the hair can be washed, cut, dyed and styled just like regular hair. Is this true? Also, where can I find this? I'm looking specifically for a dark brown / black clip where the net is the size of the palm of your hand and the hair is short. Used to cover up balding spots. Not those long hair extensions. Where can I buy them? If you say eBay, that is fine, but please find me a link to it. I don't even know what it is called to do a search.

Hair patch clip/extension any good? Where to buy?

Do you have a Sally's in your area? I know they sale these. They actually look really good, can't even tell they are clipped in.

Natural hair and micro braids?

My last relaxer was 1 year ago and I'm considering getting micro braids next weekend. My hair is shoulder length with approx 3 inches of relaxed hair at the ends. What should I use to treat my hair prior to getting micros? i.e. hot oil treatment, deep conditioning, etc... Should I use synthetic or human hair?

Natural hair and micro braids?

Definitely use human hair for micro braids so they last longer and look pretty. I suggest cutting off those relaxed ends before getting the braids. Also deep condition your hair and do a hot oil treatment before getting the braids.

Natural hair and micro braids?

TRY ASKING SOMEONE THAT WORKS IN A SALON FIRST

Natural hair and micro braids?

Definitaly do a deep conditioning treatment prior to getting the microbraids. It will help strengthen your hair and allow the braids to work with the hair instead of against. Human hair definitaly. Remember to wash and condition your hair while in braids also.

Urgent Hair Extensions Questions?

hi, i just wanted to find out some info about human hair extensions. My natural hair is black and longer than half way down my back.

I wanted to add a few strands of extensions in a different colour for a special event I have in about six days. I've read very negative things about hair falling out when putting extensions, but I just wanted to know, which method is better for Strands of extensions glued? fused? or is it possible to get them stitched? Also what is the difference between glued %26amp; fused? Im only considering extensions as an alternative to dying my hair as I never have.

Also I would appreciate it if somebody could reccomend a salon in South Western Sydney Australia that is reasonably priced %26amp; does the best method of extensions, %26amp; if somebody could also advise me where I can find clip in strands of extensions.

Sorry for the lengthy question. Thanks for all your help.

Urgent Hair Extensions Questions?

When an extension is glued the hair is pre bonded which means that the extension already comes made and when the extensionilist is appling it to your hair the weight to weight balance will not be correct. Glued extensions do leave your hair very damaged! They cause what is called the doughnut affect which is when all of the hair that the extension is glued to falls out in a circular pattern. Fused is definitely the way to go. The technique does not leave your hair damaged in any way, the resin that is used with fusion is easily removed when you want to take the extension out! With the fusion system the hair is from a loose bundle of hair and the bond is created for you, so the weight to weight ratio is correct for each extension that is applied! I would give Hair Extensions International a call on 1300 555 401 and ask them for a salon in your area. Don't go with the glued they will damage your hair!!!!!

Urgent Hair Extensions Questions?

Your hair doesn't fall out i have had extensions in for the past three months and my hair is getting to be very long i have been taking them out to see. You need to have them fused if glued they an possibly fall out. I have my micros braided in and then glued in so i think its both. you could get glued they definitely wont come out on you. Just run hot water and then they will easily come out. Sorry i don't know anybody in Australia but i tried my best to help you out on all your questions.

Urgent Hair Extensions Questions?

If your hair is pretty thin, do not get glue. But...if you really just need the extensions for a day or a week, and you want to risk it, i would say get glue. Just make sure you ask the stylist to remove them.

There are other ways too, but since you only want strands, i'd say that'd be the easiest and the least expensive. Not to mention the least time consuming.

ultrasonic cold fusion is the very best and safest way to go!

Which for you is the most beautiful human race (Eyes color and shape , Skin color ,hair , ...)?

I believe that every race has beautiful people. :) It just depend on your perception of beauty.

Which for you is the most beautiful human race (Eyes color and shape , Skin color ,hair , ...)?

Most good genealogy questions mention the person's birth date, death date and marriage date, plus the places of all three events (Town, county/shire, state/province and country, if it isn't obvious from the state; remember that "WA" means "Washington" in the US but "Westeran Australia" in kangaroo land, and "NS" can be a typo for "ND" or an accurate abbreviation for "Nova Scotia", so don't abbreviate. Spouse's name helps too.

Best of luck in your search for your family tree!

Beauty is only skin deep. If you are more focused on the outside of a person, than you are missing the whole person. Eyes don't need a color, they need a soul, a light, an opening into the heart. Skin just covers the bones, muscles, organs, etc. Hair is good, but can be overrated. Ask anybody who can't do anything with it.

I am trying to grow my hair our, I have very curly hair currently shoulder length. My guy friend bou

Wigs to wear during the process of growing out my hair. They are human hair wigs. Can wigs damage my hair and cause hair loss? If so, what can I do to grow my hair out in a healthy way. I use frutose shampoo and conditioner, I use a deep conditioner by silk elements and I use a mudd on my hair once a week. I wash my hair at least twice and I wrap it with foaming wrap lotion.

I am trying to grow my hair our, I have very curly hair currently shoulder length. My guy friend bought me?

Wigs can damage the hair if you don't wear a cap between your hair and the base of the wig. The rough material that binds the hair to the wig is too rough for your hair and will break off your hair. I wear wigs to keep my hair from the stresses of daily combing, I moisturize my hair with a water based oil lotion and wrap it, put on a satin cap, then put on the wig. I treat my ponytails like this too, I put a satin baggie on my hair before putting on the faux pony tail. I have near mid back length hair, about a year ago I had cut it to less than 2in long. I have a set regimen that I follow to keep my hair strong and moisturized. Wearing a wig is part of that regimen.

I am trying to grow my hair our, I have very curly hair currently shoulder length. My guy friend bought me?

YOU HAVE TWO ACCOUNTS!!!!!!!!!!1

I am trying to grow my hair our, I have very curly hair currently shoulder length. My guy friend bought me?

I've never worn wigs but I believe there is a cap that you put on to separate the wig from your hair. I think you should just continue your routine, which sounds great by the way. And loose the wigs. I believe your scalp needs to breath in order to be healthy and produce healthy hair. Just make sure to wear something satin on your head at night to prevent breakage and get trims every once and a while.

I am trying to grow my hair our, I have very curly hair currently shoulder length. My guy friend bought me?

i don't recommend wearing wigs, i think it will grow slower, you will get alot of breakage.

I am trying to grow my hair our, I have very curly hair currently shoulder length. My guy friend bought me?

Wigs can cause breakage and they thinned my hair out. Creme of nature shampoo and conditioner is really good. you could also try biotin.

Hair Problem?

I am going natural, but I am still transitioning. The problem is that I was going to get a "natural" sew-in where my natural hair texture is the same as the weave. But I'm tired of paying $60 just for the weave alone when I can get a wig for the same or less price. I always use human hair, but since I am getting a wig would synthetic hair hold curls longer than human? I want to get a curly wig rather than a straight one

Hair Problem?

I don't see why it would uncurl, synthetic curly hair extensions and wigs are treated to maintain a curl same as the straight ones are treated to stay straight, so if you wash it for example if left to dry on its own it should dry back in curls. Of course the problem with synthetic is you can't heat style them so no changing your mind. Hope that helps

Hair breakage from extensions?

Yeah so ir has been awhile since I have really felt good about myself. I had a horrendous experience with hair extensions during October of last year and my hair is still recovering. I was just wondering if anyone experienced bad breakage due to hair extensions and how long it took for their hair to recover. What did you do? What kind of products did you use? What seemed to really help? I had the glued-in kind..they were cheap %26amp; I was told that it was human hair but I doubt that as of now. Upon removal my hair was supperrr thin. It was fine to begin with but it was plentiful. When I had it removed it was very sparse at the thin. At the current time it has thickened up since last year, but it still not where it used to be. It is difficult to go through this. It definitely takes a toll on your self-confidence. I am 20 years old and I really hope I don't have to go through this forever. I just wanted to know if anyone else has been through something like this.

Hair breakage from extensions?

Wow, how long did you have (glue-in) bonded tracks? I think that happened because you left them in too long. Bonded tracks should never be in for more than a couple days to perhaps a week at the most. Really, that is the worst kind of weave to get! Sorry you had to go through that drama. You spent too much money if you got human hair, idk if u got it tho.

I have not actually had the exact experience you had. But I have had hair breakage as a result of getting braids (long cornrolls/extensions) directly after getting my hair relaxed (its a process to make the African American (or ethnic) hair more straightened at the roots sometimes called perm.

Anyway, that was a big mistake especially because my real hair was straightened the same day I got the braids. It was awful--anyway I just stayed away from making the mistake again!

Now I often wear my own hair in a wrap set (straightened) sometimes I Will braid my real hair and wear quick weave which is actually a half-wig just to give my real hair a break.

I clip my ends regularly and always get a good conditioner at the salon. My hair has been treated and grew back very well.

Many people assume I have extensions in my natural hair because it is thick and has volume and length that is not always common in African American hair. Only thing is my hair is high maintenace. I am assuming you are Caucasian which means you naturally have straight (or wavy) hair. Upkeep is not nearly as difficult for your texture of hair. See a salon professional try not to keep heat on your hair. Let it air dry. Also moisturize your scalp regularly, clip ends and do not over comb it. Sometimes over-combing causes shedding.

Anyway, hope my tips helped I did not mention hair products because you have a different texture hair but I think John Freda should work for you greatly.

Hair breakage from extensions?

i never had extensions, but i know many people who have. the only way you can get rid of breakage is cutting it off, %26amp; then caring for it the best you can. if you want your hair to grow faster, just take very good care! use beauty salon products such as paul mitchell or you can use infusium! have a good diet, exercise, don't wash your hair every day, don't comb it hard while its tangled, %26amp; your hair should be fine!

Hair breakage from extensions?

wow thats bad i had it glued before but never had that problem, thats why u should get it sewn in next time and tell them u want 100% human hair. i had mine glued but i ended up cuting the glue out so my hair looked choped of in some parts lol. it took about 5-6 months for my hair to grow back.

Hair breakage from extensions?

i do extensions and i have never heard of something like that happen. Maybe there was toooo much glue, or the way u took them out if u pulled them out without using the oil remover then maybe u snapped them. or your hair was too flagile. just trim and use a protein treatment this helps the hair not snap or break any further.

Hair breakage from extensions?

I had a really bad glue experience a couple of years ago. The glue tears out the hair so make sure your hair is cut and free of split ends so the hair you grow back is healthy. If u want fuller hair I suggest going natural for a while. You can still be fly though just invest in a human half wig or a fall they are very natural looking just flat iron of your bang and edges and blend. Its better than a weave. This will give your hair a break. You can try lace fronts if money isnt an option.

1. Use a protein conditioner weekly with heat to penetrate

Suggestions: ORS Mayo, Aphogee 2 min, Motions CPR or Motions Silk Protein

This should strenghten the hair

2. Stimulate your scalp by massaging with light oils

ORS Fertilizer or Wild growth Oil

3. Retain the hair you have by using moisturizing shampoos that detangle easily...Cream of Nature and Keracare detangling and Design Essentials Moisture Retention are good options

4. Only use boar bristle brushes and seemless combs

5. Sleep with a satin scarf

How do I color my hair like this?

http://buzznet-01.vo.llnwd.net/assets/us...

I like the rainbow stripes on the left side of the girl above's hair.

I'm guessing they are hair extensions, and Manic Panic sells iindevidual 18" human hair clip in hair extension, that are like 1 inched wide, so because they are human hair I can dye them,

how do you think I could dye hair so perfect like that with out it bleeding or smearing?

How do I color my hair like this?

Uhmm, that's kinda impossible to dye your hair like that. Thar girl has extensions.

How do I color my hair like this?

Other than the blonde and black hair she has... the rest are extensions. Look for a hair dresser that knows scene hair trends. You could probably find somebody out there who could dye it like that. Unfortunatly I really wouldn't know anybody but my hairstylist.

How do I color my hair like this?

those are pre colored extentions.

How do I color my hair like this?

what you do is apply one maybe two colors then wash out and dry repeat you will have a little bleeding but thats ok you can use manic panic but other hair color could fry the hair even tho its human hair

How do I color my hair like this?

if you REALLY wnated to do you hair that way you could bleach it and on the bleached parts put the colors you want in streaks (probibly manic panic).... but you would have to do one color at a time and after the first color is done clip it so it wouldnt get into your other hair and go to your next color..... hoever, this would be very risky and time consuming.... id say get the clip in hair pieces...... my friend has some that are bright red.... like 4 of them.... she just clips them in randomly. If you want a lot of colors, maybe get some human hair extensions in a platinum blond and get the colors of dye you want and do every one individually.... and clip them in... thats how i would do it ;)

Good brands of hair extensions for white people?

i've been weaing this clip on hair for a few months (it's just a big hair clip with a ponytail in it) and i like it but with it i'm only given the option of one hairstyle. i'm thinkin of getting hair extensions and i know a girl who will put them in if i buy them but i don't know what kind to buy ( i want the human hair not the synthetic) and she doesn't know because she is only used to doing black women's hair. Any suggestions???

Good brands of hair extensions for white people?

Check out Jessica Simpson's new Hairdo line of hair extensions. I got one for Christmas and they are so easy to get in and out and it makes me look so good! It is alot cheaper then getting hair extensions weaved in, the hair and the work getting them in can cost around $1000, plus you need to keep up and get them tightend every 3 months which is more money, I got the long, wavy extensions for under $100 bucks, try them out they are the best. Here is the website, hope this helps! Plus this website has tons of other extensions.

Good brands of hair extensions for white people?

No lie, but if you can get to the Del Amo Indoor Swapmeet, there is an Asian man that sells hair products. He has a whole selection of human hair for extensions, as well as synthetic hair. His customers are mostly blacks and he has the hair that they need also, but if you go in, he will give you what you need.

He has all colors, all lengths, and he even has references to places you can go get your hair extensions done.

Good brands of hair extensions for white people?

I work in a hair restoration studio in Edmonton, Canada and we also sell hair extensions to qualified stylists in Canada and the States. The hair comes from Europe and it is human hair which is most like caucasian North American hair. The extensions use no glue or bonding to apply to your head, therefore, they can be reused up to 3-5 times without damaging your own hair. They are applied with a "shell" that is crimped to the extension and a piece of your own hair. They are called Euro Locs. What part of the country are you in? I may be able to refer you to a salon where they are done. :-)

Good brands of hair extensions for white people?

Be very sure it's what you want. I've been doing this now for almost a year %26amp; have spent over $3K on it. The ONLY line I recommend is Great Lengths. Their product %26amp; hair is superior. Also, you MUST go to an experienced salon %26amp; extensionist - otherwise, it'll just be crap that will fall out, shred, get frizzy and give you heartbreak. You might be better to just buy some more "clip in's" and stick with that for a while.

Hair extentions problem?

I bought hair extentions today.

They're real human hair, %26amp; they were 70 bucks.

They work really well (I'm wearing them now)

%26amp; I like them a lot.

But I have ONE problem.

They aren't EXACTLY the right color

They're a little bit blonder than my real hair.

%26amp; You can't really notice a lot unless you pay attention or are in good lighting

But is there any way to make it look not so noticabley lighter than my real hair color ? :/

Hair extentions problem?

Dye them closer to your color.

Hair extentions problem?

Don't think so...But if it is a light diffrence, no one would notice.

Hair extentions problem?

If they're real you could dye them the right color.

Hair extentions problem?

TH3 ONLY WAY TO MAK3 IT B3TT3R IS TO DY3 YOUR HAIR BLOND3R....

Hair extentions problem?

get highlights and low lights so they look like they are suppost to be lighter

Hair extentions problem?

either dye your hair blonder / dye the extensions blonder good luck.

Hair extentions problem?

i guess u could dye the extentions to get them 2 b ur color or dye ur hair to get it the same color as the extentions. (if it were me, i'd dye the hair extentions.)

Hair extentions problem?

Are you sure they're real human hair? Real human hair usually costs hundreds of dollars. With synthetic hair you cannot color, but if it's real you can just go get it colored!

Hair extentions problem?

Next time you go to your hair dresser, they should be able to dye it the same color as your hair. If a hairdresser sewed/glued them onto your hair, then they should be able to do it with no charge.

Hair extentions problem?

youre not returning youre exchanging =]

Hair extentions problem?

I had the same problem when I had brown hair. I just dyed the extentions before I had them put on. It was a lot easier than dying them when they were already on. (because of the glue).

Hair breakage???

Hair breakage???

I'm so sorry that this happened to you, it happens more often than people realize.

Here's a few things you can do to help get you hair healthy again.

First get a trim every 6-8 weeks. This will keep your hair split end free. Do a moisturizing deep conditioning treatment weekly, try Joico Moisturizer. Use a light weight leave in conditioner daily, try Wella Restructurizer. And last, take vitamins, they really do help.

Puppies Eating Hair - Is it in them? For how long?

We have two 5-month-old mini Yorkie puppies. There is a problem we are having wherein they are going to the bathroom and the poop is hanging out of their backside, attached by a piece of long human hair. My brother's hair is very long and is all over the house, regardless of how much vacuuming we do. We have to remove the poop each time by hand. This happens to one or both of the puppies at least once a week. We have so many questions and yes, of course we are taking them to the vet asap. One of them coughed up very light foam 3 times tonight and I have no idea if that is related. The same puppy is sort of dry-coughing all night tonight and we are frantic. Can this have anything to do with the hair thing? If not, what could it be? Re: the hair thing: what happens in this kind of situation? Does the hair STAY in their stomach or intestines? Does anyone know anything about this? And yes, we're trying to get him to cut his hair off. I seek answers only about the hair, the foam, the cough.

Puppies Eating Hair - Is it in them? For how long?

The answers or rather the opinions based on your inputs are here. First of all -hair in the digestive tract is not good for the puppy. Hair does not get digested in the stomach acids. It can go and block the duodenum or intestines and as it happens in case of Bovines the animals face risk of death by the block in intestines. Another bad thing about hair is that they have a tendency to join up with each other inside the body and form some kind of cluster and a hard ball like thing which can be risky to the life. So as you have decided ask brother to cut his hair short and also watch the dogs so they dont eat from the floor where obviously hair is in abundance. The foam and cough dont seem to be related to the hair. Since you are taking the dogs to the vet, they will get medicines for that ailment. Try giving papaya fruit to your dogs, It is a good laxative -that it it makes the intestines push out any blockage as it happens in constipation and in this case it helps in cleaning up the hair which is already inside the intestines. Good Luck.

Puppies Eating Hair - Is it in them? For how long?

My dog does the same thing...he is almost 12 years old and it hasn't affected him...yeah, it is gross when you have to wipe the poo off the behind, but there's really no way to stop it. Puppies and dogs instinctively lick and try to eat obscure things. Our dog coughs and gags sometimes, but he's never been hurt by eating hair. If anything, eating people food has made him sick, not hair. Don't panic...your pups will be okay.

Puppies Eating Hair - Is it in them? For how long?

first of all, buy one of those rubber rakes(sweepa is one brand) and clean your carpet. then take your pups to the vet. the cough doesn't sound good, could be kennel cough.

Puppies Eating Hair - Is it in them? For how long?

I had the same thing happen to my pug when he was a puppy. My wife has long hair, and he would eat it and sometime, when he pooped, it would stick to him. Basically, the hair will be digested and pooped out. It shouldn't be a problem, but its a good to take him to the vet if you are worried.

They should learn, with age, to not eat the hair anymore. At least, that is what happend with my dog. As far as the coughing and foam throw up. I have had shih tzu's in the past, and both of them and my pug have had foam like throw up. A lot of times this is because of their shorter faces. They ingest more of their own hair and it causes them to gag and basically induce vometing to get it out. It is a little strange that both dogs are coughing at the same time.

I suggest you keep water close to them tonight to help them clear their throats. Then take them in to the vet and explain it all to them. I am sure that they will be okay, but its good that you are concerned.

Puppies Eating Hair - Is it in them? For how long?

My dog does it too. He is big enough to push it out, but it looks like the terds are on a string as he is pooping out the hair. He gags when he has a piece of hair in his throat, but does just fine. I have long hair and you can't keep it cleaned up. It is in the carpets then when he is playing w/ his toys the hair gets wrapped up on the toys then he ends up eating it. I don't know about the cough %26amp; such, probably would check w/ the vet

Are there any hair extensions that don't ruin hair? Which? and how much do they cost?

I'm referring to those that can be put in and taken out whenever I want, clip-ons I think they're called - made from human hair. Do they damage hair in any way? Do they clip on tight or can they slip off? If the person's hair is short - kind of like a bob, how many pieces of hair extentions are needed and how much would that end up costing approximately? Do they need to be cleaned like human hair or do they require some sort of upkeep? Where could I get them? I've never had extensions before, so I'd really appreciate all advice I could get.

Are there any hair extensions that don't ruin hair? Which? and how much do they cost?

Try hairextensions.com. They have synthetic %26amp; human hair clip in extensions. They also include instructions %26amp; levels (beginning, intermediate %26amp; advanced.) You can order a color ring and pick out what color works best with your hair. You can get your hairstylist involved so she/he can help you make the right decision. Then just send the color ring back %26amp; order the extensions. When they come in take them to your stylist who may be willing to show you how to use them and maybe get them trimmed up to look more natural with your hair. Good luck! :)

Are there any hair extensions that don't ruin hair? Which? and how much do they cost?

yes but it can cost up ro 3500 dollars I'll email u some cheap hair extentions that won't damage ur hair id u want me to.

some hair extentions can cost as low as 60 dollars. email me and i'll give u the link becuz i can;t find it rite now at this moment my friend has it

Are there any hair extensions that don't ruin hair? Which? and how much do they cost?

jessica simpson and her hairstylist make some....sry thats all i no

Are there any hair extensions that don't ruin hair? Which? and how much do they cost?

I would certainly not reccomend extensions with dreads. I know someone who has a bald patch on front, where the weight was just too much. Apparently the clip on's are the way to go. Since the weight doesnt hang on a few single strands of hair there's no danger.

Are there any hair extensions that don't ruin hair? Which? and how much do they cost?

Definately! They clip on tightly, they dont damage, and its a great alternative to getting them sewn in (which is what i do) if you're not sure you're going to like them or not.

You can buy them in any beauty supply store, or online, or i've even seen them in TJ Maxx once... but i dont recommend buying them from there. Definately buy them from a beauty supply store, they will be cheaper there too!

If you buy very very long ones, of course, the cost will be higher.

I usually buy medium quality, 22 inch length hair for about 40 dollars. If you have really short hair you should buy something shorter, maybe about 10 inches, so it will look more natural. I dont know specifically about the clip in kind, but medium quality 100% human hair that is 10 inches costs only about 15 dollars. (the kind that does not come on clips)

Are there any hair extensions that don't ruin hair? Which? and how much do they cost?

have u thought about weave?Weave are a type of hair extention that is braided in your hair and can be inexpensive.

go to an local hair salon and they will give u the details with past experience weave has worked for me.Weave can be fake or human hair . Good Luck.Oh yea this hair do can be washed like ur own hair and u can have it in any style u would like! the cost could be $150 it depends onthe style.

Best of luck in your search for your family tree!

and yeah, this isn't really a geneology question.

Hair extensions!?!?!?

Hi I really need your help, I have looked everywhere for weft 22inch hopefully longer. Platinium blonde hair ext because my hair is white I need white hair extensions a friend of mine said

colour code 613 would be ok but it is too dark for my hair. I have looked everywhere over the internet and I could not find anything so I wondered if anyone knew sells good human hair with that colour and length. Thanks!!

Hair extensions!?!?!?

go to hairextensions.com or wings.com they have everything .. they even carry jessica simpsons line .. and there prices are pretty good considering hair extensions are expensive

Hair extensions!?!?!?

you should go to your stylist, they should be able to provide the hair and you just pay them

Hair extensions!?!?!?

You are more than likely going to have to contact weave distributors to see who can get it for you. Alternatively, you could call hair extension salons in your area and see if you could buy from them. Brick and mortar salons are more likely to have the color you want. As you have discovered, white colored weave hair is not a popular item for internet sales.

The color number you want is almost universally #60 rather #613.

I have included the url to one Chinese distributor who advertises white (#60) human weave hair up to 42" in length.

Hair extensions!?!?!?

I bought my extensions off ebay and then got a training dvd off of amazon. Just make sure you dont go too cheap on the extensions. check out this site...

Clip in hair extensions? (Remy??)?

Hello. :)

Well, here's the situation-

I recently got my hair cut but the stylist cut it WAY WAY too short than what I wanted. (I asked for an inch but ended up having four cut off!) To add to that my hair was already above my shoulders and I had been trying to grow it out.

So I heard about extensions, but it seems that permanent ones are way out of my budget. So then I found out about clip in hair extensions. I looked and looked and looked for pink ones (The color I'm about to dye my hair), but I couldn't find any.

Then I heard about real human hair extensions, and that you could tint them and treat them as you would your own hair. (Is this correct??) So if this was true I was thinking that I could just dye them to match.

They are "Remy" Hair Extensions... I'm not too sure what this means... could anyone tell me please?

Also, here is the site that I saw them at: http://www.glamourextensions.com/ma...

Has anybody dealt with this website before?

Please help. :)

Clip in hair extensions? (Remy??)?

Don't know anything about this site but Remy extensions are usually the best you can buy. That's why they're so much more expensive that the clip ons you can buy at Sally's.

Hair Dye..............?

I want to die my hair a different color im tired of my dark brown hair!! I Don't want to die it at home!

I was kind of going for hair like this:

http://www.mtv.com/onair/made/assets/fli...

(sorta redish)

or

http://www.mtv.com/onair/made/season_8/f...

http://www.mtv.com/onair/made/season_8/f...

(has kind of a purplish to it)

idk what to do i have brown eyes, brown hair and medium skin! I've never died my hair before but i want non-permanent!

If I get non-permanent will it leave stains on my hair?

I'm mainly aiming for hair like that but not to wild becuse in my school you can only have human hair colors so nothing to noticeable!

Also any pics you can suggest.

Hair Dye..............?

You can't really dye your hair a color lighter than it is without doing it permanently. It just doesn't work.

Also, even colors like burgundy (barely purplish brown) can get you in trouble at schools like that. I've known people who got suspended for having off-brown colors.

Whats a great hair style to do with synthetic weave?

so heres the deal, I already made up my mind that im getting synthetic hair weave over human hair.. reason number 1 is because its cheaper, reason number 2, human hair is usually cacuasian and asian eurpean etcc.. which will not look natrual and it will cause breakage to my own hair.. so thats out of the question. I was wondering, whats the best synthetic weave style to get for my hair so it will look natrual.. im thinking of getting curly... but i dont know if it will last as long as i want it too because im worried that the curls will come out or it will start to frizz. any suggestions would be of great help! and this is my frist time getting weave, im getting it in a few weeks from now!

pictures as examples would be great (so i can see what your talkin about).

thanx,

kesha.

What Saved your hair ( only answer if your hair was damaged ) ?

my hair was soo damaged that i was tempted to shave it off the other day. but i didnt and just cried about it instead!

after cutting off 3 inches i have what looks like katie holms hair, but a little longer.

i was soo sad, ive bleached and dyed my hair over 40 times in 2 years.... i was actually addicted to changing my hair.

i finally dyed it my natural color ( med. brown ) and used natural ingrediance to fix my hair... i was amazed that blending eggs, mayo, milk and oliv oil has brought my hair back to life.

wish my luck on growing it out.

will getting glue in human hair extensions cover my damaged hair ?

and what product is best... that has worked for you ?

What Saved your hair ( only answer if your hair was damaged ) ?

aww i just got my hair cut today!

I use frizz ease deep masque conditioning and it really helps in restoring. When i straighten my hair i use heat protector and shine. Also, a de-frizzer serum/cream.

I also am going to get a clear glaze that will help restore my ends and add shine and strength to my hair! I suggest you try the clear glaze, ask your hairdresser!

Best of luck! =)

What Saved your hair ( only answer if your hair was damaged ) ?

extensions could damage it more. Joico K-pac recontructor is wonderful for damages hair.

What Saved your hair ( only answer if your hair was damaged ) ?

I started wearing my hair down more so the broken ones could have a chance to grow out more, also I left it it's natural color and used different leave in conditioners at night to repair the damage. You also have to make sure you wash your hair once a day to prevent split ends. One mistake most people do is when they brush their hair they don't brush really fast so the hair breaks.

What Saved your hair ( only answer if your hair was damaged ) ?

Try the Pantine Restoratives line.

What Saved your hair ( only answer if your hair was damaged ) ?

Well i have used Egg and I always use olive oil for my hair and just stay with it and after i used it 3 times my hair is So smooth and soft and Strong its growing like crazy Keep using it by putting it on ur hair before u take a shower before in 15 or 30 mints and apply it and than wash it off

What Saved your hair ( only answer if your hair was damaged ) ?

I wouldn't suggest hair extensions, natural hair gets pulled out with the extensions.

One product that has worked great for me, but you can only get from a salon or supply warehouse (with a license) Is Joico Kpak Reconstructor. I would suggest asking local salons about reconstructors, or if you have a cosmetology school nearby, go in and ask for a protein treatment. A cheap product you can by anywhere is Tresemme Anti-Snap conditioner, and leave it in for as long as possible, I'm talking an hour or two, put a shower cap over your head, and heat it with a blow dryer. Heat helps. I hope this works.

What Saved your hair ( only answer if your hair was damaged ) ?

my hair was really damanged this past year by two double processes and dye jobs..its so easy to go overboard isnt it?

anyway, DO NOT SHAVE YOUR HEAD. if anything you could get everything dead cut away and put tracks in that would make it easier to start fresh without the pain of growing out your hair. the first thing you need to do it get a hair cut. take off at least a couple inches which sound like they are so dead its like straw, and if you want to try to salvage your hair but deep conditioning it everyday and using hot oil treatments. do not dye your hair for the next year, i know its hard but you may never get it back again if you do and then youll REALLY have to shave it.

What Saved your hair ( only answer if your hair was damaged ) ?

Used hot oil treatments, took vitamins and ate healthy food.

What Saved your hair ( only answer if your hair was damaged ) ?

wow- 40 times?!?!! thats follicle suicide. but first, before i give you the product, i must explain why you need the products. When you die and bleach your hair, it dries it out and causes it to crack and split. this is what causes frizz, split ends, and dry hair. using a leave-in conditioner will fix them quickly. also, rub olive oil on your ends.

have fun looking beautiful!

What Saved your hair ( only answer if your hair was damaged ) ?

i have the same problem

my hair was so dammaged after colloring %26amp; everything

so i wanted cut like posh spice

ughh it was so short

but thank good it grew out

but now my hair is thick %26amp; healthy

my mom always tells me it was the best thing i ever did

GOOD LUCK

What Saved your hair ( only answer if your hair was damaged ) ?

if you have oily haiar by nature, be careful with my suggestion. however, if it is as damaged as you say, spray a wee bit of olive oil spay into your hands and work through.

It will appear softer, feel softer and look very shiney.

you can purchase it at any beauty supply.

but, as i said, be careful. it will not cause perm issue, but can look oily, if yuo use too much.

Ask a friend that is a woman of color(african american) this product helps manage even the most damaged, dry hair.

Hair Extensions, And A Style 4 Tommorrow...?

hi,

ive got a religious festival tommorrow and i want to do something really nice with my hair.

its dark brown, almost black. i got layers in it, and my shortest layer is by my chin. my hair is long and its about 3 inches past my strap, up to elbows i would say. i dont know what style to do, nothing too fancy.

i have git some hair extensions, they have gone small for my hair now, my hairs the sme length lol. but i might put them in cos it adds volume to my hair. the problem is my hair extensions are jet black, CAN I DYE THEM??

they are real human hair ones so they should be ok shouldnt it?

Hair Extensions, And A Style 4 Tommorrow...?

no you cant, you cant dye over black. you would have to bleach the extentions and then dye them dark brown like your colour. if your hair is dark anough and almost black. everything will blend in. dont worrie ive been doing extentions for a long time., even if there a slight differents in colour. everything blends in. .

Dont worrie. Youll be hot for your get together lol.

Good luck with the hair.

Hair Extensions, And A Style 4 Tommorrow...?

if they are human, you should be able to dye them fine.

Hair breakage???

Yeah so ir has been awhile since I have really felt good about myself. I had a horrendous experience with hair extensions during October of last year and my hair is still recovering. I was just wondering if anyone experienced bad breakage due to hair extensions and how long it took for their hair to recover. What did you do? What kind of products did you use? It is difficult to go through this. It definitely takes a toll on your self-confidence. I am 20 years old and I really hope I don't have to go through this forever. I just wanted to know if anyone else has been through something like this.

Hair breakage?

Yeah so kinda weird that I am writing this on x mas but it has been awhile since I have really felt good about myself. I had a horrendous experience with hair extensions during October of last year and my hair is still recovering. I was just wondering if anyone experienced bad breakage due to hair extensions and how long it took for their hair to recover. What did you do? What kind of products did you use? It definitely takes a toll on your self-confidence. I am 20 years old and I really hope I don't have to go through this forever.

Hair breakage?

I have extensions that I glue/bond in but they have never caused my hair to break when I removed them. :-(

But to help out with the breakage, use this:

ApHogee two step protein treatment. It's a protein treatment that stops breakage and restore your hair's elasticity and rebuild structure. The bottle of the protein treatment (smells to high hell) is placed on your hair after you shampoo first. This stuff is gooey and sticky so beware! You saturate your hair with stuff and comb it through then sit under a hair dryer, wrapping your hair with a towel works as well, till the hair turns hard. Then after, you rinse this stuff out, dry your hair then apply the ApHogee balancing moisterizer, let that set for 2 minutes then rinse. This protein treatment regime is to be used for six weeks straight!! It works wonders. :-)

Hair breakage?

I'm sorry that you had to go through that. I have hair extensions but they are the sew in and I never had to deal with such breakage. Anywho...you should wash and condition your hair at least once a week. Moisturize your hair also. Don't slack! Also you might have to cut off the ends that have breakage so new growth can occur. Don't do any hair dyeing or straightening or perming. You should also maybe see a stylist at least once a month to trim the ends and for a deep condition.

Stay positive! Take care :)

Hair Clippers for Dogs?

Are hair clippers for dogs different from human hair clippers. I have human hair clippers and they work on my dog but I wondered if Dog Hair clippers would work better.

Hair Clippers for Dogs?

Definitely invest in a good pair of dog clippers - I recommend Andis for the average pet owner because they tend to remain cooler longer!

Hair Clippers for Dogs?

Yes, they are different! Usually, the human kind are not as strong, and can pull the hair of your dog. Also, get a good brand, like Andis or Oster- stay away from the cheap ones at Wal Mart!

Hair Clippers for Dogs?

They're the same. The dog clippers won't be much better.

I work at a vet clinic, and the doctors have told me that a lot of the clippers out there aren't that great. It's far more important that you have a sharp, clean blade. A dull blade whether for dogs or humans, will pull the hair rather than cut it.

Hair Clippers for Dogs?

They ALL do the same thing, but I think the dog clippers doesn't make as much noise as the people ones do %26amp; they may get hotter, too; not sure. The Noise scares the dogs.

Hair Clippers for Dogs?

Yes, they are different. The clippers for dogs have metal blades of different sizes depending how long or short you need to clip the hair, whereas clippers for human hair have only the plastic "guards" for whichever length you want.

Dog grooming clippers are also much stronger so they are able to cut through thick fur unlike human clippers which will probably just drag it.

Also, dog clippers are much more expensive. Mine cost well over 鎷?00 and each blade is 鎷?0 and several are needed.

Hair Clippers for Dogs?

why would you even put hair clippers on a dog?

Why did humans lose body hair in colder climates? (evolutionists only) I already know the creationis

I have a question for evolutionists on human body hair. I can understand our ancestors losing body hair while living in Africa or Mesopotamia (depending on your viewpoint.) How come our Homo-Erectus or Homo-Sapian anscestors (I forget all the different terms) didn't evolve thicker body hair as they moved into colder areas. If they were using animal furs to keep warm why didn't their bodies become covered in thicker hair. I will often grow my full facial beard out in the winter and it helps a little so why didn't our ancestors do the same? I went to a religious school so I didn't have the opportunity to learn this in Highschool.

Why did humans lose body hair in colder climates? (evolutionists only) I already know the creationist view.?

Because, unfortunately, the only evidence we have of the physical features of hominid ancestors is from fossil evidence, we are currently unable to determine when human body hair became so thin. But humans do have hair all over their bodies -- every pore you have has a hair follicle in it. The thickness and growth rate of hair differs on different parts of the human body.

Characteristics don't just appear and disappear from the population; it takes many generations for an individual's mutation to spread through the genetic pool, and it only spreads if it the individual with the mutation is capable of bearing/siring children. This applies not only in the biological sense -- does the individual reach puberty, is the individual fertile, etc -- but also in the social sense. If a mutation, or some other characteristic of the individual, renders him/her an undesirable mate, then the trait dies out with the individual.

Because all humans share roughly the same hair pattern, I would have to ttheorize that the thinning of hair occured before the human exodus from Africa, and stayed present in the population because it was a socially appealing characteristic.

Disclaimer: this is off the top of my head, I have done no research in this area, and there is probably someone out there in the paleoanthropology field who has thought of this and done work on it.

Also, just an FYI: the terms are spelled Homo erectus (genus capitalized, species not) and Homo sapiens, and they should always be in italics (but don't ask me how to do that on here)

Why did humans lose body hair in colder climates? (evolutionists only) I already know the creationist view.?

You only need to konw the creationist view those evolutionist people are freakin idiots what the heck do they know?

Why did humans lose body hair in colder climates? (evolutionists only) I already know the creationist view.?

I guess what I am trying to figure out is why you think the earth got colder. After the ice age the earth gradually heated up. This is when humans began to gradually lose hair. Civilized life began in Mesopotamia than it gradually moved down into the middle east and Africa, which was a warmer climate yet. I guess I am wondering what makes you think that humans lost hair in colder climates.

Why did humans lose body hair in colder climates? (evolutionists only) I already know the creationist view.?

don't need it - look better without hair on back

What do those creationists know anyway except what they are told to believe ---- get a brain and be happy

Why did humans lose body hair in colder climates? (evolutionists only) I already know the creationist view.?

There's an old book that's probably out of print called "The Ascent of Woman". It says that mankind lost body hair because we spent a conciderable amount of time in water. Other evidence to back this up is we have in common with water mammals that we don't concentrate out urine (when we do it's a sign of dehydration) and we have tears. Seals, whales, dolphins and sea birds have tears but not land mammals. Would love to find a copy of that book.

Why did humans lose body hair in colder climates? (evolutionists only) I already know the creationist view.?

Good question; all our mamal siblings have fur, why do we not?

I think food and its preparation is the key. Primarily fire and salt separates us from animals. Maybe there is the missing link?

Why did humans lose body hair in colder climates? (evolutionists only) I already know the creationist view.?

There is minimal advantage of body hair for humans to survive or thrive once they had furs or clothing. So the dynamic is sexual selection. People with less hair were preferred mates. One result is a greater degree of sexual dimorphism.

Which hair is better for tree braids pony or human?

Human hair will be better for your hair as synthetic hair might dry your hair. However, it depends of the look you want to achieve, I often used Pony hair, and it was great!

HELP ! Hair falling out?

I am 22 male. And my hair is really started thinning its self out in the past 2 weeks. My hair always falling out but never quite so much. Every time I wash my hair I can count at-lest 50 strands of hair, and at lest 20 strands when put my hand in my hair when dry .

It started falling out like this after I try a new shampoo....(Head and shoulder's witch I stopped using ) I have very difficult hair, and to find the right shampoo is very hard. I have tried at lest 60 diffrent shampoo's, but my hair, is ithere, to oilily, dry, thin, frizzy I just cant win.

I have tried a quite a few treatments witch work great for the first to uses but then stop working.

What can I do to make my hair stop falling out. Apart from the Dr. I know that to grow horses hair back they use, Cocoa oil, would that work on human hair?

Any one any ideas . I don't wont to go bold at 23.

HELP ! Hair falling out?

i say start using an organic shampoo like J.A.S.O.N.

my hair was falling out for a bit, and I prayed about it and started using that shampoo. so if you pray, i say pray (for sure! cuz thank God my spot filled in!!!!!!! :DDDD) and use an organic shampoo cuz they don't have all the crap in them.

HELP ! Hair falling out?

get a wig

or ask a hair stylist/dermatologist

HELP ! Hair falling out?

I say go on Bosley

HELP ! Hair falling out?

I would seriously check out the doctor's first. I wouldn't test out something that an animal uses often. Usually being nervous or fatigue causes baldness. This usually occurs in older people, and it's strange thay it occurs in a young person like you. Schedule an appointment right away, and tie your hair into a hat to keep it from falling out completely.

HELP ! Hair falling out?

A lot of times with males, hair loss and balding is inherited. Does anyone in your family have this same problem?

You can try using boundless tresses if you want. It is a sulfur based product that is supposed to regrow hair. It costs like $15 plus shipping per bottle. Email me if you want information on the woman who sells it. I have heard many people having good results with it.

Or, you could try castor oil to thicken up your hair. I read a lot about that...it is supposed to make your hair thicker and darker.

HELP ! Hair falling out?

ha ha mabey u can get a comb over like homer simpson

HELP ! Hair falling out?

I am going bald too. It made me feel really sad and freaked out at first, but now I just shave it. At first I didn't like the way I looked with a shaved head, but I got used to it and now I think it looks fine. There really isn't much you can do.

You can use Rogaine and other products, but as soon as you stop using it your hair will start falling out again. Or you can do hair transplants, but that is very expensive and leaves little X shaped scars all over your head that you need to cover with a proper haircut. That means, if you shave your head, then you will see all those little scars.

Personally, I would just learn to live with it. Being attractive has a hell of a lot more to do with how you carry yourself and how you treat others than just how your hair looks.

HELP ! Hair falling out?

You shouldnt shampoo everyday try once a week

HELP ! Hair falling out?

Stress and worry can cause hair loss, esp in men.

Also, it is not unusual to loose this amount of hair, your hair falls out and replaces itself all the time.

There are products on the market that can reduce hair loss and encourage regrowth. They have been shown to be effective.

Use seaweed hair products and add seaweed to your diet. There is some evidence to suggest that seaweed is benifical for your hair.

Black Hair Care Advice?

I've always had very thin, short and unhealthy hair and has never had anyone to help me take care of it.Now I'm 17 and I am finally trying to take care of my hair but I don't know how to. My hair is short, dry, very brittle and very thin.I first permed my hair when I was about 8 or 9 years old and I still perm it every two months. Before I would just put it in a pony tail, cornrows, individual braids (human hair) and I now sow weave which has made my hair worst then before.I used every type of hair product and read learned that natural products should work good for my hair type, I haven't yet used natural products but I read that Carol's Daugter and Beauty 4 Ashes are my best choice.

I want to know should I continue to get my hair washed and set once a week and perm it every two months using natural products or should I cut it off and grow out the perm by either continuing to sow in the weave or get individual braids and get them done over every two months and what type of hair?

Black Hair Care Advice?

I think you should buy motions CPR treatment and put it and and sit under a blowdryer for like 30 mins every two weeks and stop perming your hair just let the perm grow out and get you hair trimmed every two weeks. And if you want you hair to be straight like if you had a perm just flat iron it. Thats what i did but i usually keep it in individuals and it is growing and becoming more healthy. And another thing if you are going to get individuals dont let them stay in for more that 4 weeks

Black Hair Care Advice?

Your hair sounds like it needs moisture.

I would suggest washing your hair with conditioner at least once a week, you can go to the salon and request it but you can do it at home too.

Good moisturizing conditioners are Nexxus Humectress,Keracare Humecto or any V05 conditioner.

When you get relaxers ask the stylist to leave a little texture so your hair won't be overprocessed.

Also limit heat usage and ALWAYS use a heat protectant when flat ironing.

Black Hair Care Advice?

DO NOT PERM YOUR HAIR ANY MORE. I REPEAT DO NOT PERM YOUR HAIR ANY MORE. The perm is most like the reason why your hair is thin short and brittle. That is what happen to me when I had a perm .You will also need to cut all of the perm out of your hair. You should try getting braids for about a years to get your hair healthy .Here are some product that help me to get my hair once again.

Black Hair Care Advice?

The best product to use is anything from Dr. Miracles or Doo Gro hair care products.

Leave the weaves alone.

Start using the products I mentioned and start messaging your scalp and hair line and temple are with a hair dressing that contains natural oils, vitamins and minerals. Do this at least two times a week.

Stop washing your hair every week. African Americans do not need to wash their hair that often because it causes our hair to loose it natural oils. We are suppose to wash our hair every 10-14 days.

Black Hair Care Advice?

Perms can be very damaging to black hair. Some people can wear them, but for many black women they cause the symptoms you are experiencing - dry, short, brittle, thin hair. In addition, weaves and braids, especially braids that are too tight, or that are done with someone else's hair, cause hair loss for many people because they exert constant tension on the hairline.

I strongly suggest that you stop perming your hair and you work on taking care of it in its natural state. The hardest part of learning to take care of black hair naturally is when you first start out. After you get used to it, it becomes much easier. Some people choose to chop off all of their relaxed hair and just start over fresh. Others let the relaxer grow out gradually and work with different styles while this is happening.

Hair Dye..............?

I want to die my hair a different color im tired of my dark brown hair!! I Don't want to die it at home!

or

http://www.mtv.com/onair/made/season_8/f...

African American Braiding hair question????

I love to wear my hair in micro braids. I have grown my hair out over the years and it is now shoulder length. My braider says my hair is too long for human hair extensions and that I should use synthetic hair. I don't really like to use synthetic hair. I like to be able to play around with styles and you really can't do that with synthetic hair. I have gone to every african american beauty supply store in my town and no one has hair longer than 24 inches. Does anyone know of a reputable website that sells longer lengths of human braiding hair?

African American Braiding hair question????

First off, you can still get your hair braided with human hair even though your very long, you can actually get your own hair braided in micro braids I have done that several times, but some people do prefer weave. I have a few websites that have 24 inche weave that may be able to help. I hope that you find what you are looking for. Good luck, oh I have to tell you though you may be paying alot more than you usually do.

African American Braiding hair question????

I'm sorry but I've never heard or gotten longer than 24' inches so, well maybe you should ask your braider if they can sew two extensions together, but I've never heard of such thing. Wear your natural hair.

African American Braiding hair question????

dont go for extensions nor a weave

What does synthetic hair feel like? (serious answers only please)?

I would like to buy some human hair for weaving. The last time I was told the hair was human, I know it wasn't because it tangled and matted. Is there a way to tell human hair from sythetic so I don't get lied to or so I will know that it really is human hair?

What does synthetic hair feel like? (serious answers only please)?

when shopping for your hair..take a couple strands (do not remove) of hair..put them in between your finger and take your thumb nail and scratch the strands..if it stretches a little or if anything comes off on your finger or nail it is NOT real hair..

What does synthetic hair feel like? (serious answers only please)?

It should say it on the inside of the wig on the flap. Human Hair, does not get all tangled and matted when wash. It is real hair.
