Are there any hair extensions that don't ruin hair? Which? and how much do they cost?

I'm referring to those that can be put in and taken out whenever I want, clip-ons I think they're called - made from human hair. Do they damage hair in any way? Do they clip on tight or can they slip off? If the person's hair is short - kind of like a bob, how many pieces of hair extentions are needed and how much would that end up costing approximately? Do they need to be cleaned like human hair or do they require some sort of upkeep? Where could I get them? I've never had extensions before, so I'd really appreciate all advice I could get.

You can order a color ring and pick out what color works best with your hair. You can get your hairstylist involved so she/he can help you make the right decision. Then just send the color ring back %26amp; order the extensions. I would certainly not reccomend extensions with dreads. I know someone who has a bald patch on front, where the weight was just too much. Apparently the clip on's are the way to go. Since the weight doesnt hang on a few single strands of hair there's no danger.

Definately! They clip on tightly, they dont damage, and its a great alternative to getting them sewn in (which is what i do) if you're not sure you're going to like them or not.

You can buy them in any beauty supply store, or online, or i've even seen them in TJ Maxx once... but i dont recommend buying them from there. Definately buy them from a beauty supply store, they will be cheaper there too!

If you buy very very long ones, of course, the cost will be higher.

I usually buy medium quality, 22 inch length hair for about 40 dollars. If you have really short hair you should buy something shorter, maybe about 10 inches, so it will look more natural. I dont know specifically about the clip in kind, but medium quality 100% human hair that is 10 inches costs only about 15 dollars. (the kind that does not come on clips)

have u thought about weave?Weave are a type of hair extention that is braided in your hair and can be inexpensive.

go to an local hair salon and they will give u the details with past experience weave has worked for me.Weave can be fake or human hair . Good Luck.Oh yea this hair do can be washed like ur own hair and u can have it in any style u would like! the cost could be $150 it depends onthe style.
