I have short hair will it be obvious if i get clip-in hair extensions?

I have hair to just above my shoulders, and its very straight cut with a side fringe. If i get human hair clip-in hair extensions (about 7) will my short hair look really obvious or would layers be reccomended to get?

Get layers, but if you say your hair is very straight then get straight clip-in hair and lay your real hair down very flat so it can blend in. Layers will be good though!

well i have a friend that had short hair and she got extensions and it looked really nice...the only way they would look fake is if the person doing it doesn't do it right or if it's not the same hair color...you have to make sure that it's the same color.
