Extensions for relaxed hair?

i am black, my hair is relaxed and very fine, it goes down to the top of my bra, but i want extensions for an upcoming event bc my hair isn't thick enough for what i want to do with it. has anyone had experience with getting extensions and it looking natural? i don't want to look like i'm wearing someone else's hair.. are human hair extensions available for hair like mine? thx

getting hair extensions can look very natural if they're done by the right stylist. I'm black too and I've seen people use hair extensions to thicken the texture of their hair. Just consult w/ your local stylist and let him or her know what you're trying to accomplish and I'm sure they can accommodate you.

If you've had your hair relaxed then I wouldn't recommend getting hair extensions...your hair has been weakened severely and the added weight of the extensions will snap a lot of your hair. If it's just for an upcoming event then try clip in hair extensions. Go to your salon and ask about them.
